sounds like your mom is too conservative. what is her reasonf or saying no? i'd say the same thing, just go buy one with your friends when she is not around. or, buy one online, old navy has nice cheap ones, and have it delivered to your friends house and they can give it to you. :) !!
Ask her why. She might have a good reason. She might think you want a itsy bitsy bikini. Maybe show her a tankini, it looks like a tank top and a bottom,that is a great first bikini.
